Hugh Lantry Mac Faden was born and raised in California. The second son of native Californians, a sailor and a fine artist. In the year 1985 He started his art foundation at the Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design and earned his BFA in sculpture at Missouri Western State University in May 2014. He also studied under a number of master decreed artists and sculptors at the Angels Gate Cultural Center located in San Pedro, California, gaining extensive experience in printmaking and sculpture. Now settled in the Midwest with his wife and three children, he remains a world traveler at heart. An avid surfer/waterman since childhood, his sculptures are influenced by the Earth’s oceans.
